Who won big at the Critics Choice Awards? See the complete winners list
Stripper fairy tale “Anora” won best picture Friday night at the Critics Choice Awards, while “Emilia Pérez,” “The Substance” and “Wicked” each claimed three trophies.
Netflix's embattled “Emilia Pérez,” mired in controversy this awards season for star Karla Sofia Gascon's tweets about Black and Muslim people, won best foreign language film, supporting actress for Zoe Saldaña and best song for “El Mal.”
Demi Moore, the comeback story of the season, won best actress for “The Substance,” which also won original screenplay for director Coralie Fargeat. And Jon M. Chu was a surprise best director winner for "Wicked."
The big winner in the TV categories was “Shōgun,” which earned four awards: best drama series, drama actor, drama supporting actor and drama supporting actress. Jean Smart's “Hacks” followed with three wins: best comedy series, comedy actress and supporting comedy actress.
The show was hosted live by Chelsea Handler on E!
