When will Spotify Wrapped come out in Australia? How to get 2024's 'Year in Review'
Spotify Wrapped is hotly anticipated each year, and the 2024 Wrapped is just around the corner...
As December nears, so does music lovers and Spotify users' favourite day of the year — the annual Spotify Wrapped is likely to drop at some stage in the next week and it's the time of year we all love to blast out the results of all the songs we listened to in 2024 like it's all a massive surprise.
Whether your favourite bands of your teenage years somehow make your top five every year (guilty) or whether you've accidentally fixated on one song and are terrified to see how many minutes of your life you spent listening to it (also guilty), Spotify Wrapped provides a small dopamine hit each year as you struggle through the end of year slog until Christmas.
Of course, it also comes with the stats of the wider music world and listeners — for example, Taylor Swift being the most-played person globally and whether she can retain that another year, and remember last year when Vance Joy's Riptide was the most streamed Aussie song? What was that about?!
But let's be real: we all just love seeing our own results and the results of our friends and then listening to our playlists all over again like they're brand new.
How to find your 2024 Spotify Wrapped
So how do you find your Spotify 2024 Wrapped? Despite the fact it's eagerly awaited every year, some users struggle to find it straight away.
When it's released, Spotify will display your playlist on both the mobile and desktop apps. As the anticipation grows each year, the mobile app should usually have a pop-up advertising it when you open the app, or the playlist should be searchable if you type in '2024 Wrapped'.
Last year the app had a 2023 Wrapped banner that popped up straight away, but if it glitched for some users, they could find the data by scrolling to the top menu and finding the Wrapped button waiting.

When does Spotify stop tracking data for 2024?
Ahh, it's the question we're all dying to know the real answer to — when is there a safe space to blast 2009 dance floor bangers like nobody's watching? No, but like, when no one is literally watching and collecting the data anymore so Spotify doesn't come at you like this:
A few years ago, a Spotify employee reportedly told a media outlet that the data gathering ended on October 31 of each year, with Spotify later saying in 2023 in a now-deleted post on X that the fun fact "doesn't sound right". "Don't worry, Wrapped is still counting past October 31," the brand tweeted.
Goddamn it. I thought November was a safe space.

While the date isn't fully known, People predicted the usual cut-off is around mid-November. So hypothetically, if we're about a week or so out from the 2024 results being released, right now is your safe space to play Christmas bangers on repeat without it being tracked.
When will Spotify Wrapped 2024 be released?
That's the million-dollar question! Last year, the results were released on November 30, which was a Thursday. So if Spotify follows suit on a similar timeline for 2024, we could be looking at a drop anywhere between November 28th through to December 6th.
May the odds be in your favour.
