The countdown to The Flip Off premiere has officially begun, but the drama between Christina Haack and estranged husband Josh Hall is only just heating up. In a radio interview on Jeff Lewis Live, the Christina on the Coast star revealed the split is getting ugly—and litigious. "We're going to go to trial, I hear," she says. "He doesn't want to do mediation."

While Haack didn't (and, from a legal perspective, probably can't) get into the specifics, the HGTV star did accuse Hall of misusing the alimony she gave him. "I gave him money to live, and he bought a Bentley," she quips. "But he also doesn't have a job, so..." This explanation offers a lot more insight into the cryptic comments she made about being financially independent a few months ago.

The former flames were married for nearly three years, but many fans speculate that the split was a long time coming. In fact, a sneak peek clip from The Flip Off showed a particularly tense car ride where Hall said his wife was "rude" and "pissing him off already." And, since the couple filed for divorce on July 15, the tension has only revved up. Haack said her ex was "an insecure man with a huge ego," while Hall alluded to the HGTV star being "delusional."

If money is a major point of contention, many fans on the interview clip called out Haack for not having a prenuptial agreement in place. "She didn’t have a prenup so what did she expect?" asked one TikToker. "Of course he’s coming after her money." "I love how she cringes at him, but girl you chose to marry him WITHOUT a prenup," another wrote. "I bet she ignored so many red flags." A third simply said, "Wow he came for her money."

But fear not, HGTV fans: Haack reveals she's hired legal "legend" Laura Wasser to help her navigate the courtroom drama. According to the Flip or Flop alum, Wasser has taken on plenty of high-profile divorce cases like Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck's recent split. With any luck, the proceedings can be handled as swiftly as possible, which seems to be in everyone's best interest. After all, Hall went Instagram (Stories) official with girlfriend Stephanie Gabrys, while Haack is reportedly dating CEO Chris Larocca—and recently got a tattoo removed from her wrist that supposedly represented Josh.

As for what we think? We'd rather put this feud to rest and focus on another design drama: Who will win season one of The Flip Off? You can read our theory here and stay tuned for the premiere on January 29, 2025.
