Yahoo Lifestyle The Weeknd’s Billions Club Live Concert Film Available to Stream on Spotify
For those who weren’t able to score a ticket to the “Billions Club Live With the Weeknd” show last month, Spotify is running it back with a 45-minute concert film premiering exclusively on the platform.
Starting today, fans can relive the Weeknd’s Los Angeles show on Spotify with the film, which was shot on location at Santa Monica’s Barker Hangar and was produced by OBB Pictures. This marks the first concert film-streaming experience on Spotify, which staged its first-ever Billions Club live show with the singer on Dec. 17. Watch the Weeknd’s Billions Club Live show here.

At the show, the Weeknd treated top Spotify listeners to selections from his 25 songs that have reached over a billion streams, including “Can’t Feel My Face,” “Save Your Tears” and “Earned It.” Additionally, he played new songs “In Heaven” and “São Paulo” that are expected to be included on his upcoming album “Hurry Up Tomorrow,” out Jan. 24.
The Weeknd started ramping up to “Hurry Up Tomorrow” with a special one-night-only concert in São Paulo in September. At the show, he brought out Anitta and Playboi Carti, and it largely played as an evolution of his “After Hours Til Dawn” concert that he toured in 2022 and 2023. To commemorate the release of “Hurry Up Tomorrow,” he’ll stage another one-night-only concert at Pasadena’s Rose Bowl where the stage will cover the entire stadium floor.
Additionally, the Weeknd will release his suspense thriller “Hurry Up Tomorrow” in theaters on May 16. The singer stars alongside Jenna Ortega and Barry Keoghan in the film, which is directed by Trey Edward Shults and will feature new music.
