McDonald's has announced that some iconic desserts will make their surprise return to Aussie menus after a two-year hiatus.
McDonald's Australia is teaming up with Nestlé Professional to bring back the KitKat McFlurry and KitKat Frappe.
"We are known for our great-quality range of desserts that bring together iconic Macca's flavours and some of Australia's most loved dessert brands," McDonald's Australia senior brand manager Liz Whitbread said.
"After a successful launch in 2020, we are so excited to bring back the delicious KitKat McFlurry and KitKat Frappe," she said.
KitKat McFlurry and Frappe make surprise return
Featuring a combination of Macca's signature soft serve, swirled with KitKat pieces and topped with delicious hot fudge sauce, the KitKat McFlurry is perfect for chocolate lovers.
The KitKat Frappe is a mixture of Macca's creamy chocolate frappe blended with crushed KitKat pieces, topped with whipped cream and KitKat chunks.

The KitKat McFlurry will be exclusively available via Menulog from Wednesday August 24, for one week only.
Both the KitKat McFlurry and KitKat Frappe will be available at all Macca's restaurants nationwide, plus via the MyMacca's app and McDelivery from August 31 for a limited time only.
Macca's McPlant burger hits Aussie shores
Last month, Macca's introduced the long-awaited McPlant burger to restaurants across Victoria as part of a trial after calls from vegetarian customers to bring it to Australia.
The meat-free burger, which was co-developed with Beyond Meat, is made with a plant-based patty made from peas, rice, potatoes, and beetroot.
The patty is served on a sesame seed bun, with tomato, lettuce, pickles, onions, mayonnaise-style sauce, ketchup, mustard and a slice of American cheese.
The McPlant will be served at 270 Macca's restaurants across Victoria as part of the trial until November 1.
