When you go for takeout or fast food, it's often hard to decide whether you want pizza or a burger. Well thanks to Domino's, now you don't have to.
The home delivery and takeout pizza chain has created a genius mash-up of a burger and pizza with its Burger Joint Pizza Range.
Loaded with premium burger ingredients like 100% Aussie beef burger pieces, authentic American burger cheese, butter pickles and special burger sauce, this is not just a burger made on a pizza – this is a burger made to be delivered.
It doesn't stop there though, Domino's has created no less than four different burger joint pizzas to suit your burger preference:
Burger Joint Cheeseburger – loaded with beef burger pieces, American cheese slices, mozzarella and butter pickles topped with special burger sauce.
Burger Joint Bacon Cheeseburger – loaded with beef burger pieces, American burger cheese slices, mozzarella, butter pickles and crispy bacon topped with special burger sauce.
Burger Joint Hamburger – loaded with beef burger pieces, American burger cheese slices, red onion, fresh tomato, mozzarella and butter pickles finished with mayonnaise and tomato ketchup.
Burger Joint Bacon Hamburger – loaded with beef burger pieces, American burger cheese slices, red onion, fresh tomato, mozzarella, butter pickles and crispy bacon finished with mayonnaise and tomato ketchup.
People are just gobbling them up too.
"I feel like every event in my life has been leading up to this moment," one man wrote on Facebook.
"I just tried the cheeseburger pizza it was amazing so tasty and yummy," someone else commented.
"Well done, tastes like a burger and the burger sauce... I was pleasantly surprised," one lady said.
"I had to share with my work colleagues.. and they all agreed. Can't wait to see what other "burgers" you create," she added.
"What makes our Burger Joint pizzas so incredible is that our premium ingredients were carefully chosen for maximum burger goodness, while ensuring they could be delivered hot and fresh just like a Domino's pizza," Michael Treacy, Domino's Culinary Innovation & Development Chef said.
"A delicious burger on top of fresh handmade dough – this is everything you love about a great burger combined with everything you love about a great pizza, delivered so you can devour it in the comfort of your own home," he added.
“We live in the Golden Age of Delivery and burgers have yet to ketchup," Mr Treacy quipped.
"They’re often cold or falling apart by the time they reach your door because they were simply never designed to be delivered."
"We have taken almost 40 years of experience as Australia’s food delivery experts and developed a burger specifically for the delivery generation," Domino's ANZ CEO David Burness said.
"No more soggy bread rolls and limp lettuce. Domino's is bringing home the burger – on a pizza!”
“You have never had a burger delivered like this before," he added.
Customers keen to try Domino's new Burger Joint Range can order one via the Domino's App starting from just $10.95 pickup.
