Hey Upper East Siders, Gossip Girl (read: Lia Mappoura of Cosmopolitan) here and do I have some news for you. Spotted earlier this week [11 June, 2024], Elle Fanning and Timothee Chalamet were not only looking pretty cosy but both rocking major hair transformations, too...
OK, dramatics aside, if we're getting real, the pair were seen out in the streets of New Jersey together but not in the way one would assume (aka, there's no need to crack out the tiny violin just yet for both Elle and Timothee are still in relationships with their separate partners). As stars of the upcoming movie, A Complete Unknown, the actors were on set filming and in character with somewhat dramatic beauty makeovers.
While Timmy was papped sporting a head of 80s-looking curls, Elle seems to have undergone a colour change, ditching her signature blonde locks and replacing them with copper lengths. Take a look at the new 'dos in question, below:
The orange hue is teetering between strawberry blonde and cowboy copper, adding warmth to her complexion while the style is effortlessly natural having been styled in soft waves.
Now, as much as we love the tone and are all for declaring it as a new trend for summer 2024, there's no telling whether or not it's permanent. After all, wigs, extensions and hair pieces are crucial for quick and easy transformations in film and TV.
