Elizabeth Hurley Trades Bikini for All Lace Dress During Royal Appearance

Elizabeth Hurley swapped out the summer bikini look that she has shared with fans on several occasions over the last few weeks for a stellar floral number fit for a regal event.

The English actress sported an all-lace dress and light pink heels as she posed for photographers at Ascot Racecourse in Ascot, England, on Wednesday, June 19. She was there to attend the second day of this year’s Royal Ascot, a celebration described by event organizers as being “reserved for the best; the best in racing, the best in hospitality – and, of course, the best in style.”

Hurley, 59, dazzled in her white dress, which featured a white liner beneath the white lace that fell elegantly from her neck to her ankles. The dress featured lace sleeves and was adorned with four delicate flower designs that were attached to the lace between Hurley’s neck and hips.

The model paired her dress with a small handbag that matched her heels, dark sunglasses and a beige and white hat. She flashed a huge smile at photographers as she arrived, dressed to impress for the event.

This year’s Royal Ascot officially began on June 18 and runs through June 22. The late Queen Elizabeth II used to enjoy attending the equestrian event with members of her extended family. Several people within and linked to the royal family continued in that tradition this week, with Prince William and his in-laws, Carole and Michael Middleton, among those in attendance.

Before her arrival at the Royal Ascot, Hurley attended several red carpet events earlier this year in support of her new movie, Strictly Confidential. The thriller, which was released in April, served as the first feature-length film directed by her lookalike son, Damian Hurley. The 22-year-old joined his mother often at special events supporting the film’s theatrical release over the last several months.
