Travelling couple's $4 Kmart find for perfect camping brekkie: 'Best cheap device ever'
Kmart shoppers have found yet another crazy good hack to help them while out on the road.
Saving space while on the road is a major consideration, so if you can get one kitchen item that solves multiple issues, why wouldn't you jump on that bandwagon? If you love smoothies, but don't have the space for a full blender setup on the road, one happy camper has shared how they do it with a $4 kitchen item.
Harriet Hunnisett took to TikTok to share how her partner Blake used Kmart's $4 Pull Chopper to make smoothies while they were on the road. The Pull Chopper is designed to chop vegetables, herbs, and fruit and works without electricity, making it perfect for campers or caravaners. However, one thing to note is that you need to be very careful about the blades, which are apparently very sharp, judging from some shopper's comments.

In the video, it only takes a few seconds (some likened the movements to "starting a lawnmower") before the ingredients are whipped up into a smoothie, Harriet asks her partner how good the smoothie is "out of 10", and he tells her, "It's probably a 9.5, there's always room for improvement, but it's pretty good!"

Others shared their thoughts on the hack, with one person joking, "This is such a first world problem hack haha."
"This is the best cheap device ever, I have one in my caravan," another said. "Love it."
"Chopper, smoothie blender, and portable gym," a third joked, given how hard Blake pulled the device to make the smoothie.
"The second I saw this I ran my a** to Kmart and got one," someone else added.

Many others reminded the pair that Kmart does sell a $15 Portable USB Mini Blender which is also very popular among campers and caravaners.
One customer shared a review of the blender on TikTok after the first time she used it last year and appeared to think it worked well, but added, "My only problem is, if I'm travelling with it, and I've finished using it, I'd have to carry a bottle to rinse it off."

This is in reference to the fact that the part of the blender with the blades can be taken off, but it's not easy to clean if you don't have the bottle part available to you to add water and dishwashing liquid and cleaning by turning the blender on – which seems to be the most popular way to clean it.
"It would have been cool if there was an extra lid to put on top [of the blades], but other than that, it works great!," she says. "So, Kmart, you're the bomb!"
