The Voice Australia fans slam new changes to show: 'Too much'
Fans of The Voice are complaining that the show has become way too focused on the judges.
The Voice Australia fans aren't too happy with the new season of the show, with many taking to social media to complain about the formatting and production, saying there are too many ad breaks and too much time focused on the performances and the judges and not the contestants and their singing abilities.
As blind auditions continue, many people who have loved the show over the years are feeling disgruntled that so much of the attention is focused on the judges trying to win contestants over instead of focusing on various contestants' performances.
This comes after a production insider told Yahoo Lifestyle that Kate Miller-Heidke was nervous about her edit and "it does feel like she was planted to ruffle some feathers."
"I think Kate only NOW knows the role she is playing amongst the coaches after seeing this week's episodes," the insider said.
The Voice fans want less judges, less talking, more singing
While the show may be focusing heavily on the judges as they try to promote the nearly all-new panel, with Guy Sebastian being the only one to return from last year's season and Adam Lambert, LeAnn Rimes, and Kate Miller-Heidke all stepping into the chairs, fans aren't resonating with the show's approach to focus heavily on the judges and their competing strategies.

"This year is all about the coaches. One hour and 40 minutes on Monday night for five contestants," one person complained. "Too many commercials. Let’s see more of the contestants please."
"So many bloody ads and too much time focused on the judges loving themselves," another ranted.
"Agree with many, this has been the worst production of The Voice in a long time. The other night it was nearly 22 minutes before we saw the first act. As always there is way too much talking and not enough singing!" someone else lamented.
Fans unsure about Kate's judging style
The criticism comes after The Voice fans debated amongst themselves about Kate's divisive judging style and comments, with some loving her approach and others not so sure.

"I understand the coaches have to fight for their person, but Kate has taken it to another level and not in a good way. Leann is a gentle soul, as in Adam, and the attacks they have received from Kate are unwarranted. Guy has definitely changed his approach to getting his person in a passive-aggressive way and looks uncomfortable with Kate's method."
"Turned off the voice this season. Kate comes across as not nice, way too much talking," another fan added.
