The Voice 2024 viewers confused by 'cruel' detail in blind auditions: 'Dangerous'
Fans of The Voice are wondering if TikTok star Jenna Hudson will have to battle against her boyfriend Yorke Heath to stay in the competition.
A viral TikTok star well-known for making content about periods, from gifting women on their periods with free makeup or skincare, or giving out tampons and pads at Taylor Swift concerts, has now pivoted to taking on The Voice, impressing the four judges with her version of Avril Lavigne's 'Complicated'.
Jenna Hudson, an Adelaide-based content creator with a whopping 1.5 million TikTok followers, had Guy Sebastian, Adam Lambert, LeAnn Rimes and Kate Miller-Heidke all turn their chairs after her take on Avril's hit '00s song.
"Stepping out on The Voice stage, it definitely makes me feel a bit out of control," Jenna said before performing. "To be honest, I'm a self-confessed control freak. You've seen my TikToks and I make all my own content, so coming on The Voice, production has been so impressive, I'm so inspired and honestly, I don't even feel like I'm even here."
Jenna did a stripped-back version of 'Complicated' making it sound almost ballad-like as she built the song up to an emotional chorus, with one fan saying it left them 'teary-eyed'.

"Giiiirl you didn’t just sing 🎤 you kicked it out of the park! Love it so much. Oh you got this! @yorkeheath Congrats, I think you know who your biggest competition is," one person commented to the couple.
"Still confused why she would go on the same team as her boyfriend!" another person said. "No chance of them both making the final now," someone else pointed out.
"Hoping they don't put them together in the sing off. That would be cruel," said another viewer.
"That is dangerous to be pitted against your partner," another person commented, with someone replying, "No matter who she went with she'd be competing against her partner. The only way to avoid that would be to compete in a different series."
