Travis Kelce Gave a Hilarious Nod to Taylor Swift After the Chiefs' Playoff Win
Well played, Travis. Well played.
Travis Kelce has officially clinched the number one Swiftie spot. After the Kansas City Chiefs won the AFC divisional round against the Houston Texans on Saturday, the NFL star made an adorable reference to his girlfriend Taylor Swift's music that made everyone in the stadium smile.
During a post-game interview, Kelce, 35, was asked by a reporter if he felt 25 again given his stellar performance on the field. His reply? “22 baby, 22." Kelce's answer was an obvious reference to Swift's hit 2012 song "22" from her Red album, in which the chorus begins: "I don’t know about you, but I’m feeling 22.”

Swift was in the crowd to cheer on Kelce during Saturday's game, dressed in head-to-toe Chanel. Her touchdown-worthy look included a black-and-white tweed jacket from the French fashion house, which was layered over a black hooded romper with matching tights and knee-high boots. She accessorized with a pearl-strand belt, a quilted handbag, and glittering disc-shaped earrings (all also Chanel).
Just a few days earlier, Kelce gushed about Swift's support during an appearance on the Stephen A. Smith Show. "She's fully encouraging me to enjoy playing this game," Kelce said of his plans to continue to play football, revealing that he's not retiring anytime soon despite rumors. "She loves coming to Arrowhead and coming to the games and cheering for me so I got all the support in the world to keep chasing these dreams."
"That's the beauty of being in a very strong relationship," he added, "Is that you get that support to be able to come in and focus on your craft. Focus on being the best version of you."
