The truth behind the new MAFS 'feuds' revealed: 'People are mad'
A number of cast members are angry about how Channel Nine has been picking 'favourites'.
While it’s been almost three months since this year’s season of Married At First Sight finished airing on TV, there have recently been endless reports and rumours about ‘feuds’ between several participants.
In addition to Melinda Willis revealing last month that there’s currently a “huge divide” amongst the cast, the 33-year-old recently shared on Instagram that she and her co-star Evelyn Ellis had an “awkward” encounter at the Logie Awards nominations event.
This came shortly after Yahoo Lifestyle reported that Tahnee Cook and Evelyn Ellis have surprisingly unfollowed each other on Instagram amid rumours they’re also no longer friends.
Meanwhile, Daily Mail has since alleged that only a select number of cast members have been invited to attend this year’s Logie Awards, which has created even more tensions within the cast.

Yahoo Lifestyle is told that the “huge divide” goes much further than the girls and there are plenty of participants who are angry about Channel Nine “favouriting” Evelyn Ellis.
“Evelyn arrived halfway through the season, wasn’t the main person in any of the big storylines, and is now getting every opportunity and the rest of us get nothing,” one cast member, who asked to remain anonymous, said.
“That’s why people are mad. Her and Duncan [James] didn’t even get together on the show and [Channel Nine] are promoting them as the big success story now at events and on Today, it makes no sense.”
Who's been invited to the Logies?
According to Daily Mail, all three of this year’s success stories are set to attend, including Evelyn and Duncan, Tahnee and Ollie Skelton, and Melinda and Layton Mills.
Other cast members who have reportedly been invited to walk the red carpet include Sandy Jawanda, Janelle Han, Claire Nomarhas and Rupert Bugden.

However, the likes of Harrison Boon, Bronte Schofield, Dan Hunjas, Cam Woods, Melissa Sheppard and Tayla Winter, who all proved to be this year’s most controversial participants and helped the show attract monster ratings, have been snubbed.
