Taco Bell Debuts New Twist on Fan-Favorite Drink: 'It's Perfection'

Taco Bell is using the new year to refresh its menus, adding new food items and another twist on a fan-favorite drink.

On Wednesday, Jan. 15, the Mexican-inspired fast food joint confirmed it's launching its new Cheesy Dipping Burritos—which first divided fans when it was just a rumor—this week. The customizable entree, available a la carte nationwide for about $4.99, won't be the only new addition to menus.

Customers need an ice-cold beverage to wash down their midday snack or meal, so in a cool new twist on its "Dirty Baja Blast," Taco Bell is gearing up to introduce two new varieties of its classic Baja Blast frozen drink. The Baja Dream features the beloved Mountain Dew soda flavor blended with vanilla crème, and the Strawberry Baja Dream, which has the added sweetness of strawberry flavor.

The freezes are available for $3.69 for a 16-ounce size and $3.89 for a 20-ounce size, per information shared directly with Parade. Both frozen drinks and the dipping burritos will be available at participating locations across the country beginning Thursday, Jan. 16.

Fans of the brand have high hopes for the new sips, with some revealing they created their own menu hacks in the past that resulted in similar beverages.

"I used to ask for the cream in the Baja blast when they had those other cream freezes," one Instagram user wrote in response to a promotional post shared by food blogger Snackolator. "It’s perfection," they added.

"I'm praying these are as good as I think they will be," someone else joked.

"These look so 🔥🔥🔥🔥," one more suggested.

The fast food influencer also appears to be all for the new release, admitting, "That strawberry one could be incredible!"
