You Can Skip Starbucks All Together With This Copycat Classic Starbucks Café Mocha
Years and years ago, this Starbucks Café Mocha recipe was one of the original specialty drinks on the menu. And all these years later, it’s still very popular, even given the variety of Starbucks frappucinos, iced coffee drinks, and hot lattes you now have to choose from.

Even with all the new Starbucks drink additions, this classic Café Mocha is still my favorite, and we make a copycat version at home a lot. The combo of coffee and chocolate is so perfect because one complements the other. On top of all that, making it at home saves a nice amount of money—you know how expensive it can be for just one drink at Starbucks!

In a large coffee mug, pour in 2 tablespoons of chocolate syrup.
Add coffee or espresso with vanilla extract and stir together.
Then, add steamed milk.
You can stir gently or leave layered.
Topped off with whipped cream and 1 tablespoon of syrup. Add cinnamon if using.
How To Make Steamed Milk in the Microwave
Pour 1/2 cup milk of choice (almond and coconut milk also work) into a small or medium mason jar. Make sure you only fill halfway. (You need the milk to have room to froth and puff up)
Put the lid on the jar tightly and shake, shake, shake! (About 20 to 30 seconds should do.)
TAKE OFF LID. Don’t forget this step. Place opened jar in the microwave for 30 to 45 seconds. You have steamed frothy milk!
