James Gunn To Film "Pickup Shots" For 'Superman' In Order "To Enhance The Film": "No Reshoots"
A motion poster for Superman features the tagline “Look up” and is embellished with a stirring version of John Williams’ icon theme tune for the Man of Steel.
Superman stars David Corenswet in the eponymous role, with Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane and Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor.
Gunn confirmed last week that he was undertaking minor pick-up shoots for the feature after wrapping in July. “We’re doing a day and a half of pickup shots. No scenes. No reshoots. Just a handful of individual shots to enhance the film,” he said.
Other cast includes María Gabriela de Faría as The Engineer. The ensemble features Skyler Gisondo, Sara Sampaio, Sean Gunn, Edi Gathegi, Anthony Carrigan, Isabel Merced, and Nathan Fillion.
