Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan's holiday card includes rare photo of Archie and Lilibet

Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan's holiday card is here, and so is a rare look at their kids.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex on Monday released their annual holiday card, which included two rows of three photographs. The top middle photo showed Harry and Meghan with their arms open as their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, run toward them.

The card provided a rare look at Archie and Lilibet, although their faces were obscured in the photo. It also included pictures of Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan during various trips, including one where Meghan is embracing a young child.

The royal couple welcomed Archie, 5, in 2019. Lilibet, 3, was born in 2021.

The card, which was printed on a green background, ended with the message, "We wish you a very happy holiday season and a joyful new year." The duke and duchess separately sent a private card to friends and family.

King Charles III and Queen Camilla recently released their holiday card, which used a previously seen photo of the two that was taken at Buckingham Palace in April.

"Wishing you a very Happy Christmas and New Year," their card said.

Prince William and Princess Kate have not yet released their Christmas card. Their 2023 card included a black-and-white family portrait of the couple with their three kids, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

Harry and Meghan did not include their children in their 2023 holiday card, which focused on their philanthropic work.

The release of the Christmas cards comes at the end of a trying year for the royal family, in which King Charles and Princess Kate both battled cancer. During a recent Christmas concert, Kate said she "didn't know this year was going to be the year that I've just had" and that like her, "lots of people this year have had such challenging times."
