Sunrise's Nat Barr dons plunging $1750 frock for charity: 'Gorgeous'

Sunrise host Natalie Barr has stunned fans with her sophisticated look for an exclusive charity black tie event. The Gold Dinner, held on Thursday evening, raised a whopping $19,200,000 for the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation.

The star stepped out in a strapless dress designed by Italian-Australian Carla Zampatti. The black gown, which retails for $1749, had a plunging sweetheart neckline and a full skirt.

The fabric had a feather-like effect and also shimmered in the light. Nat had her hair styled in subtle waves that framed her face and accessorised with long, diamond drop earrings.

The event is invite-only, with stars such as Candice Warner, Lincoln Younes and Claudia Karvan also making an appearance on the red carpet.

Nat took a quick snap to show off her look before the event, posing with both hands on her hips.

“Out. And frocked raising money for the @schf.kids. Wearing @carlazampatti and jewels by @fairfaxandroberts @natsehhatastyling,” she wrote in the caption.

Her celebrity pals quickly took to the comment section to share their thoughts, with Sunrise star Mark Beretta simply writing: “Wow!!!”

“Stunning,” The Morning Show host Kylie Gillies added,” while Sunrise reporter Katie Brown called her a “Queen”.

“This is a look,” fashion influencer Cat Sanz declared.

“Looking amazing,” added Seven News presenter Angela Cox.

Her fans also loved her outfit, with many labelling her dress as ‘stunning and elegant’.

“You could be attending the Met Gala in that killer dress Nat,” one fan gushed.
