Country music singer Shania Twain has divided fans after she debuted her hair transformation. The 57-year-old was almost unrecognisable after she traded in her usual brown locks for a bleached blonde look.
Unveiling her new hairdo on Instagram, the Man I Feel Like a Woman singer donned a bright orange dress with a long leather jacket over the top.
In the caption, she was celebrating the release of her new album Queen of Me.
While some fans loved Shania's new look, others flocked to the comments to share opinions on the transformation.
"This makes me so sad. I have been a Shania fan for 34 years. This is NOT who I loved and admired ... This is awful," one commented.
"A blonde? Nooooooooo ... 'That don't impress me much'," another said, quoting lyrics from one of the singer's most famous songs.
"Anyone else think she's trying to look like a Kardashian?" a third added.
"Don't recognise her anymore. Sad," a comment read while another claimed: "This doesn't even look like you I had to [do a double take]."
Other fans however praised the singer for her bold choice, with many clearly loving the new look.
"I mean, a wise woman once said that the best part about being a woman, is the prerogative to have a little fun!" one commented.
"All these people complaining about her hair ... but she is infinitely beautiful and hair colour won’t change that," a fan praised the star.
"You look amazing and am so proud of you for rocking it," another said in support.
Shania Twain's Queen of Me is her comeback album after she became a huge hit in the 90s. Her last album, Now, was released in 2017.
