Selena Gomez Wears Viral Madewell Suede Trench With Classic White T-shirt and Jeans for SiriusXM

Selena Gomez modeled Madewell’s viral suede trench while appearing on SiriusXM’s “The Jess Cagle Show With Julia Cunningham” on Monday in Los Angeles. The singer and actress was recently nominated for two Golden Globes, one for her role in Hulu’s “Only Murders in the Building” and another for the musical “Emilia Pérez.”

Gomez paired a white T-shirt with dark wash jeans and a suede belt, layering on a peak lapel coat from Madewell’s recent collaboration with Alexa Chung. The trending outerwear is popular on TikTok, where fashion influencers have racked up thousands of views showing how to style it.

Gomez currently works with stylist Erin Walsh, who also counts Anne Hathaway, Elizabeth Banks and Juno Temple as clients.

The Rare Beauty founder wore her dark tresses in sleek bob, while her makeup consisted of coral blush and lip gloss.

Speaking to hosts Jess Cagle and Julia Cunningham, Gomez elaborated on how her acting work led her to get back into the recording studio. Her most recent album, “Rare,” dropped nearly five years ago.

“More than anything, I’ve never felt so inspired,” Gomez said. “The work I’m doing now is everything I’ve worked hard to do, and I’m so proud and so fulfilled.”

“I’m still, you know, making my way as I go, but I really am extremely lucky, and I think music is gonna be in my life forever in whatever shape or form,” she continued. “I think it has truly inspired me, this whole experience.”

Nominations for the 2025 Golden Globes were revealed by Mindy Kaling and Morris Chestnut on Monday. “Only Murders in the Building” received four nods, including Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Series — Musical or Comedy for Gomez, while “Emilia Pérez” picked up 10.
