Sam Frost and Jordie Hansen welcome their first child: 'We love you'
The couple shared a sweet post on social media announcing the news.
Sam Frost and Jordie Hansen have announced the birth of their first child together, a son named Theodore Paul Frost-Hansen.
The couple, who got engaged in May 2022 after meeting just a few months earlier, shared a joint Instagram post on Wednesday afternoon revealing the news.
“This is Ted,” they wrote alongside a black-and-white snap of their newborn on Sam’s chest.
“Theodore Paul Frost-Hansen. There’s no words to describe how much we love you • 07/03/2023.”

The couple’s famous friends and followers quickly took to the comments to congratulate the pair, with radio host Michael ‘Wippa’ Wipfli writing: “This is sensational. Congratulations. Love.”
“This is Lucky Ted! Such beautiful news Sam. Huge congrats to you all… and here’s to all the magical moments ahead,” Lisa Wilkinson added, followed by Megan Gale who said, “This is just so beautiful! Congrats guys”.
“Awww he is so beautiful! Congratulations,” Bonnie Anderson wrote, while Sam’s Home and Away co-star Sarah Roberts also sent her well wishes.
'That was difficult'
The exciting news comes after Jordie spoke openly with Yahoo Lifestyle about his decision to compete on the latest season of Australian Survivor just a few weeks after finding out Sam was pregnant.
“While obviously, you want to take the opportunity, and I was so grateful and I couldn't believe I got the call, I had a nine-week pregnant fiancée waiting for me at home who's a little bit sick,” he said, before quickly adding, “Well, ‘a little bit sick’ is an under-exaggeration - she had full-time morning sickness and that was difficult.”

However, Jordie said Sam was “super excited” about the thought of him playing for a second time and there was no way she was going to let him turn the offer down.
“She booted me out the door basically,” he laughed. “I was having moments where I’d go, ‘Do I go? Do I not?’, and she was like, ‘No, you gotta go, you can't not!’.”
Sam and Jordie first met after he competed alongside Sam's brother Alex on Australian Survivor: Blood V Water last year. The couple then got engaged in late May during a trip to Uluru, which they revealed on their joint podcast two months later, and announced their pregnancy in September.
