Sam Frost addresses rumours she will compete on Australian Survivor

Former Home and Away actress Sam Frost has revealed if she would ever follow in the footsteps of her fiancée Jordie Hansen and compete on an upcoming season of Australian Survivor.

The 33-year-old, who starred on the very first season of The Bachelorette in 2015, responded to a follower during an Instagram Q&A on Thursday who asked if she had plans to appear on the reality show.

“I think I might leave Survivor up to the expert, aka Jord,” she said. “I think I’m too much of a paranoid person. I’m extremely anxious sometimes and if I think people are talking about me and plotting against me, I would have a nervous breakdown.

“So I’m not sure it’s in my wheelhouse, but Jord is amazing on it.”

Sam then promoted Jordie’s highly-anticipated return to the show on Australian Survivor: Heroes V Villains, which is set to premiere in January 2023.

Sam and Jordie first met after the landscaper competed on Australian Survivor: Blood V Water earlier this year against Sam’s brother Alex.

The couple announced their engagement in July after six months of dating, and in September they revealed the news that they are expecting their first child together.

“There is a tiny human coming soon… everyone act surprised when he inevitably inherits his parents' odd sense of humour,” they wrote alongside the Instagram announcement.

Pregnancy update

Sam also shared a pregnancy update during her recent Q&A, telling her followers that everything is going “really well” and she and Jordie are both “so happy”.

“I can’t complain, to be honest,” she said. “First trimester was absolute hell if I’m perfectly honest. But the second trimester was so much easier, I just cruised through it, I felt.

“I had a few hiccups here and there, had a little bit of bleeding at week 22 which was scary, but it was absolutely fine. And now just general aches and a bit uncomfortable, but I think that’s to be expected.

“But the baby’s healthy, he’s growing perfectly so I can’t complain. I’m just excited to meet the little guy! It’s going to be so much fun. It’s going to be hard, but also fun and rewarding.”
