Yahoo Lifestyle Reba McEntire and Rex Linn Celebrate Major Relationship Milestone and Fans Are ‘Gonna Cry’
Reba McEntire and Rex Linn are more than just co-stars on Happy's Place—they're co-stars in real life, too!
The country crooner and her actor boyfriend are marking five years together, and Reba shared two sweet snaps on Instagram to celebrate. One was a recent shot of the couple cuddling at a restaurant and the other appeared to be from their very first date.
"Celebrating five years of tater tots this week! ❤️ #thetots #anniversary," McEntire captioned her post.
Fans couldn't get enough of the cute pics.
"You two are ADORABLE 😍," gushed one fan.
"Oh my goodness stop I’m gonna cry!!! I’m so happy you found one another and God puts everyone in our lives for a reason!!! ❤️❤️❤️ You found your somebody! Happy Anniversary!" added a second person.
"Oh my gosh! I forgot the tater tot thing. The tater tot deal in @happy’s place makes so much more sense now!" wrote someone else.

Mcentire opened up about how she and Linn, 68, got together—as well as the origin of the tot-themed nicknames they have for each other on an episode of The Jennifer Hudson Show in 2023.
As the singer explained, the couple had known each other for nearly 30 years before their relationship turned romantic.
"I was doing Young Sheldon, the TV show, Rex was doing Young Sheldon—so was Melissa Peterman, who played Barbara Jean on the Reba show," she recalled. "Rex texted me and said, 'You gonna be in town?' I said, 'Yeah.' He said, 'Well, let's go to dinner.'"
"We all went to dinner, had a good time, went down the street to a wine bar, and they said, 'Well, I understand you've already had dinner, but we do have some good appetizers,'" she continued.
"I said, 'What do you have?' They said, 'Well, we have tater tots.' I went, [raises hand], and so Rex said, 'That's your nickname from here on out—Tater Tot.'" After that, McEntire gave Linn his own pet name: "Sugar Tot."
"We're the tots—sugar and tater. So, we've been together ever since," she added. "He's a sweetheart."
