1.Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey (married from 2002—06)
On a 2020 episode of Dr. Oz, Jessica shared her regrets. "I wish I would’ve signed a prenup," she said. "The funny thing is that Nick wanted me to sign a prenup, but I was so offended. I’m like, 'But we’re going to be together for the rest of our lives. We’re saying our vows to God and in front of all of our family and friends. This is never going to end,' and we didn’t sign a prenup."
2.Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez (married 2022—24)
Bennifer rekindled their flame in 2021 and married the following year. According to People, sections of J.Lo's 2024 divorce filing regarding "community and separate property indicate that the exes didn't tie the knot with a prenuptial agreement in place."
3.Justin and Hailey Bieber (2018—present)
The couple reportedly married without a prenup at an NYC courthouse. The following year, a source close to the couple apparently told US Weekly that Justin was "scared he doesn’t have a prenup" but remained committed to work through any issues together. Dax continued, "The joke is now on her because she's become much more successful than me and has much more money than me."

The actor and former NFL player reportedly had no prenup in place when they divorced in 2006. On an episode of The Arsenio Hall Show, Gabrielle spoke about the importance of prenups ahead of her wedding with Dwyane Wade. "For this marriage, the biggest difference between this and the last marriage will be a prenup. At my insistence. At my insistence. When you have your own stuff, you don't need to worry about anyone else's stuff. So everyone should go into the relationship knowing, 'I'm here for you and you're here for me.' And the reality is I've never seen Dwyane balance a checkbook, so I gotta protect my stuff."
10.Kevin Costner and Cindy Silva (married 1978–94)
Kevin and Cindy met in college and married not long after graduation. When they divorced 16 years, the latter received an $80 million settlement, likely due to a lack of prenup, per Business Insider.

After 25 years, Jeff Bezos was the richest man in the world at the time of the divorce, and the settlement gave MacKenzie 25% of their Amazon stock. Estimated at $38 billion, this made her the third-richest woman in the world. Based on her public announcements, she has donated $19.2 billion.
