Paige DeSorbo is setting the record straight on her breakup with Craig Conover.

The Summer House star, 32, took a moment on the latest episode of her Giggly Squad podcast to discuss rumors circulating online that she had cheated on the Southern Charm star, 35, and that played a factor in their breakup.

“I never, in the three years that I dated my ex-boyfriend, I never physically cheated on him [or] emotionally cheated on him,” DeSorbo said. “Can you mentally cheat on him? I don't know, but I didn't.”

She went on to further clarify the timeline of their breakup on the podcast, noting that she and Conover split over the “Thanksgiving weekend” at the “end of November” — a month before she revealed the news on her Giggly Squad podcast.

“Craig then went on and did press for Southern Charm, did whatever he needed to do, acting as if we were still together,” she recalled. “And that was fine. I said that he could do that. He was processing in his own way. Christmas came and went.”

However, after he went on a trip and began “presenting himself as single,” she said she texted him and let him know that she wanted to go public with their breakup on the Giggly Squad. She said the text went “unanswered” and she ultimately decided to reveal the truth.

“And then the narrative just like took a turn really quickly that I had cheated, that I broke up with him like a week [before the podcast] [and] moved on with some new guy,” she said.

She then reiterated: “Let me say this here and now, I did not move on with some new guy. I am single. I don't have a new boyfriend. I did not cheat on my ex-boyfriend. And it was a full month that we were broken up, and I didn't say anything.”

In her podcast, she also hinted about the reason behind the split, saying, “When you're in a relationship, things happen in your relationship. You take inventory of them, you evaluate and then you decide if you wanna go forth with that relationship.”

“And that's what I did,” she continued. “I decided that I did not want to go forth with that relationship, but no one was blindsided, no one was cheated on. I really took to heart what I said on Giggly Squad when I first announced my breakup. It was really hard for me. And I felt like I spoke extremely highly of him.”

Last month Conover broke his silence on the split on his Instagram Stories, saying that he was “very shocked” by the split, which happened “right before the holidays.”

“It takes two people to be in a relationship and you can’t control other people, you can only control how you react to it," he said at the time. "Remember to be kind to Paige and me and yourselves and all of that good stuff.”

"I’m still processing everything, which is normal. It’s a three-year relationship, it’s your best friend who you talk to all day everyday, and then they’re just gone. So, you know, one day I’ll be able to talk more on it,” he added, saying elsewhere in his message that he had to “start living again, whatever that looks like.”
