Okay, okay, I know we say it a lot but Olivia Rodrigo just officially stepped out in her best look ever at the 2025 Grammys last night [Sunday 2 February]. We've loved watching the artist's style evolve over the years and over the past few months she's been showcasing a much more daring aesthetic. From her naked-effect knitted lace gown (that was vintage John Galliano for Dior from the fashion house's autumn winter 1998 collection, FYI), to a red hot leather lace-up dress from Ludovic de Saint Sernin's SS25 collection, her attire has also fully entered its high fashion era.

True to form, her 2025 Grammys 'fit combined both of these factors. Ahead of taking to the stage during the awards to present during the ceremony, Olivia walked the red carpet and when we say she arrived, we mean she ARRIVED. The artist ensured all jaws were on the floor in a black halter neck gown that had a seriously plunging neckline thanks to a ginormous keyhole cut-out at the bust.

Yet more cut-outs featured at the sides of the design. In fact, save for two thin straps crossing each of her shoulder blades, the dress was almost completely backless plunging all the way to the very top of her bum. It rivalled the backless plunge on Sabrina Carpenter's red carpet look.

Yep, this dress is basically just so many giant cut-outs. The design is actually a vintage Versace creation from the Italian brand's spring summer 2000 collection. Which, as O-Rod fans and math whizzes have likely already worked out, makes the dress older than Olivia by three whole years.

Oh, and because you’re wondering, Liv was joined on the carpet by her boyfriend Louis Partridge.

A rare red carpet appearance from the couple whose official debut was at the Venice Film Festival last year.
