Yahoo Lifestyle Antonio Banderas Makes a Bold Declaration About Daughter Stella’s Fiancé
Antonio Banderas opened up about his daughter Stella, whom he shares with ex-wife Melanie Griffith, and her fiancé Alex Gruszynski.
The Paddington in Peru actor spoke with People in a new interview, saying of the couple's upcoming nuptials, "I am very, very happy for both of them."
But that wasn't all he had to say about Gruszynski, boldly declaring, "I love the man that [Stella] decided to get married with."
"The only thing that I want if my daughter got into a relationship and now into a marriage is that she's loved. Everything else is I don't care," he went on. "It's just great. I feel great for her."
Stella shared the news of her engagement to Gruszynski in August 2024, posting a photo of her beautiful engagement ring with her husband-to-be smiling in the background. They appeared to be sitting on a blanket in a park somewhere.

She added other photos to show the couple's relationship over the years, revealing that she and her fiancé have known each other since they were kids. Stella wrote, "I get to hang out with my favorite person on earth forever!!!!!!!! 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍."
Like Banderas, Griffith seemed just as enamored with Stella's fiancé, commenting at the time, "I love you both sooooo much!! Congratulations again!!! ♥️♥️♥️♥️."
In his new interview, Banderas also discussed his daughter and Griffith and how they were affected by the California fires, saying, "I talk all the time with my daughter Stella. I continue doing it and I know everybody's fine."
He noted that Stella's mother, grandmother, and some of her friends had to live with her for a bit due to evacuation orders.
