No, That’s Not Meghan Markle’s Montecito Home in Her Netflix Show
In "With Love, Meghan," the Duchess of Sussex takes viewers inside a stunning Montecito estate — just not her own!
Meghan Markle invites viewers into the kitchen in her new series With Love, Meghan — but not at her own Montecito home.
On Jan. 2, the Duchess of Sussex, 43, unveiled the official trailer for her upcoming show on her brand-new Instagram, offering a sneak peek at the lifestyle series set to premiere on Jan. 15. While filmed in Montecito, California — where Meghan and Prince Harry live with their children, Prince Archie, 5 and Princess Lilibet, 3, — the series wasn't shot at their house.
Instead, the show was filmed at a nearby mansion, showcasing Meghan as she explores the gorgeous kitchen, gardens, and orchards of the stunning estate.
In the trailer, Meghan is seen at work in a bright, airy kitchen, raising a glass with friends and sharing a moment with Prince Harry on an outdoor patio.

Promotional photos show her walking into an outdoor party with Mindy Kaling, chatting across a garden with chef Alice Waters and smiling in a glam backyard.
The Duchess of Sussex flexes her skills in cooking, crafting, baking, beekeeping, flower arranging and more in the preview, which was released on Jan. 2.
Friends including Kaling, Abigail Spencer, Delfina Blaquier, Kelly McKee Zajfen, Tracy Robbins and Daniel Martin all made cameos in the series, which will see Meghan spend time with friends "old and new."

All eight episodes of With Love, Meghan are due to debut on Jan. 15, and the Duchess of Sussex hyped up the excitement on her new Instagram page.

With Love, Meghan is the Duchess of Sussex's fifth creative project for Netflix, where she and Prince Harry, 40, signed a deal reported to be worth $100 million in 2020. Filming the lifestyle series didn't take her far from her family, as Harry and Meghan have made the Santa Barbara enclave of Montecito their home since stepping back from their royal roles in 2020.
After a short stay at Tyler Perry's home in Los Angeles, the couple reportedly purchased the Montecito property that summer and have been there since.
In conversation with The Cut in 2022, Meghan reflected on how she and Harry felt drawn to make the home theirs.
"We did everything we could to get this house," she said in the 2022 interview. "Because you walk in and go… Joy. And exhale. And calm. It’s healing. You feel free."
With Love, Meghan premieres on Netflix on Wednesday, Jan. 15.
