Nicole Kidman Shares the Secret to Her Successful Marriage to Keith Urban: 'Double-Headed Shower'

Nicole Kidman gives unexpected marriage advice!
The actress, 57, who has been married to country music star Keith Urban, also 57, since 2006, shared insight into their marriage of almost two decades while speaking to W Magazine in their Best Performances issue.
When asked if she sings in the shower, the Moulin Rouge star confessed to the outlet that she does and shared the feature in their bathroom that has kept their marriage strong.
“I do. I also hear Keith singing in the shower, and I’ll hear his new songs forming,” Kidman told W Magazine. “We have a double shower. The double-headed shower: key to a successful marriage. Separate commodes and a double-headed shower!”

The pair married at St. Patrick's Estate in the beachside suburb of Manly in Sydney with her children — Isabella Jane and Connor Antony, whom she shares with ex-Tom Cruise — present for the occasion in June 2006.
She and Urban welcomed their first child together two years later, a daughter named Sunday Rose. Their second baby together Faith Margaret followed in 2010.

Kidman revealed to W Magazine that she has all of her red carpet dresses “beautifully boxed” to give her daughters. Despite being generous toward them, she confessed that they don’t share their clothing with her.
“They raid my wardrobe all the time. I'm like, ‘Okay, what's mine is yours,’” Kidman said. “But I don't raid their closet, even though I'm like, ‘Oh, that's cute.’ But I'm not allowed to take anything. It's a one-way exchange.”

She previously gushed to Instyle that it’s important for her to come home to her family on the weekend to maintain a work-life balance.
Kidman said being at home is “very nourishing” as she prefers time with her husband and children to a “girls’ weekend” unlike other people.
“The greatest thing our family priest told us very early on in our marriage was, ‘Always kiss hello and kiss goodbye.’ It just keeps you connected,” she added.
