New Home and Away photo gives away huge clue about 2024 cliffhanger
A new behind-the-scenes photo could hint towards Cash's future.
Last month Home and Away left fans rattled with a dramatic 2024 cliffhanger involving Cash Newman (Nicholas Cartwright) crouched over a bloodied and possibly dead Tim (George Pullar) after he went to warn Tim and Eden Fowler (Stephanie Panazzo) about Tim's rogue client Nerida (Ellie Gall).
While it looked like Cash was caught, literally, red-handed after harassing Eden and Tim for weeks about their relationship, viewers at home know that Cash had originally gone to find his ex Eden who was at a secluded resort with Tim and the rest of the band Lyrik, to warn her that Tim's ex-client Nerida was on the rampage and out for revenge after saying she had once been in a relationship with Tim.
Keeping up? It's OK if not, things get complicated in Summer Bay.
While we wait to see the result of the bloodshed — is Tim alive? Is Cash innocent? How exactly was Nerida involved and how did she take on two grown-ass men? — eagle-eyed fans have been keeping their eyes peeled as the actors film 2025 scenes for Home and Away over at Sydney's iconic Palm Beach.

While Home and Away fans eagerly await the show's return on January 13, some have spotted 2025 scenes being filmed and shared in a fan Facebook group, showing exactly what fate may await Cash.

And good news, everyone! Cash is looking very much not behind bars and framed for murder as he patrols around Summer Bay in his cop uniform.
What's he doing? No one knows, but obviously, if you're as well studied as me in Home and Away, you know that's Tane's bulging biceps waiting for him on the pavement there, so at least we know these two fine gentlemen will be sticking around the Bay well into mid-2025.
New character could point at arrest for Nerida
As for the whole cliffhanger part... last week, the admin of a popular Home and Away fan page uploaded an image showing a new character whose name is yet unknown, but played by Craig Hall (Neighbours, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug) but could be a potential police officer or detective investigating what the hell happened between Cash, Tim, and Nerida.
"A new character played by Craig Hall (character name not confirmed) he played Victor Stone on Neighbours," the admin posted. "Looks like he is just a guest appearance and not sure if he’s a police officer or detective, but you see him standing behind Rose. This was post before Rose left — could be Nerida, but to me she doesn't look like Nerida."

Fans were quick to point out though that they do think the woman in handcuffs is Nerida finally being arrested.
"That is Nerida definitely!" one person commented. "Definitely Nerida in handcuffs," another agreed. "Maybe he’s a lawyer and possibly that girl is one of the river people cash arrests," someone else theorised.
