Neighbours star Bonnie Anderson announces surprise engagement

Former Neighbours and SAS Australia star Bonnie Anderson has proudly announced that she’s engaged to her partner Sam Morrison.

The singer posted the delightful news to Instagram on Sunday, sharing a photo of the pair smiling and Bonnie happily showing off her ring.

“I CAN’T BELIEVE IT!!!” she wrote alongside the picture.

“My best friend asked me to marry him! I can’t wait for forever with you my love!”

Her celebrity pals were quick to wish the couple congratulations, with Neighbours stars Charlotte Chimes and April Rose Pengilly amongst the first.

Fellow SAS Australia competitor Dan Ewing also wrote, “Omg congrats!!!”

MasterChef’s Khanh Ong added, “Congratulations to you both, omg call me for a debrief this week.”

Not to be outdone, Bonnie’s partner Sam also shared a similar photo of the loved-up couple celebrating to show how happy he was.

“I couldn’t be happier,” he began. “I love this girl, more than anything. Let’s do the rest of our lives together.”

Sam often gushes on social media about Bonnie, posting photos of them together while writing how lucky he is and calling her a “beautiful soul”.

This announcement comes after the Australia’s Got Talent singer went through two breakups in 18 months.

Bonnie and Sam went public in November 2021, when the SAS Australia star posted a photo of the pair having dinner.

Since then, she has referred to Sam as her 'family', with the couple even spending Christmas together in matching sweaters.
