MAFS: Surprising reason why Sara and Tim called it quits after the reunion

EXCLUSIVE: An insider claims Sara was the one who broke things off.

Despite committing to one another at final vows and rocking up to the reunion hand in hand, Married At First Sight’s Sara Mesa and Tim Calwell are sadly no longer together.

An insider tells Yahoo Lifestyle that the couple stayed together for one month after filming the reunion but Sara called it quits when she found out Tim had been speaking negatively about her to his co-stars on the Gold Coast.

“Tim was going around saying some not-so-positive things about Sara and their relationship and she decided that she wasn’t going to put up with it anymore,” the source claims.

“He told her that he had forgiven her for seeing her ex during the experiment and wanted to move on, but he wasn’t moving on with everyone else so she ended things. They weren’t on speaking terms for a while but have recently started talking again.”

Who is Tim's new girlfriend?

A source tells Yahoo Lifestyle that Tim was “briefly seeing” the woman, who is an architect named Barbara, before filming the show and they “got back together a week after he split from Sara”.

The insider adds that the accusations around Tim and Barbara’s relationship started once filming had wrapped, which is why they were never addressed on the show.

Meanwhile, Daily Mail reported in March that Sara had been spotted on the popular dating app Hinge and was searching for someone who “can take the bad”.

The publication added that the profile was created recently and features photos of the nutritionist “showcasing her lavish lifestyle while dining at restaurants and bars”.
