MAFS star's secret legal drama revealed after missing court date
MAFS star Daniel Holmes has been banned from driving for six months. The reality star was busted for driving a motor vehicle while his licence was already suspended on July 5 in Sydney.
He was then due to front Sydney Downing Centre Local Court on August 11, but failed to show up after moving back to Brisbane prior to this following his split from MAFS co-star Carolina Santos.
Despite not being there, the court disqualified Daniel from holding a driver's/rider's licence for six months from 11 August 2022 – and also ordered him to pay a $440 fine.
Daniel told Yahoo Lifestyle his offence was a "silly mistake".
"I lost points driving in Queensland just before going on MAFS which led to my licence suspension for six months," he said.
"After MAFS I moved to Sydney, kinda got complacent about the suspension, decided to drive to the movies with Carolina one night and got pulled over of course.
"Was my own silly mistake which led to another six-month suspension."

Daniel announced his split from Carolina on August 8, just days before he was due to appear in court.
Following weeks of speculation, Daniel shared a statement on Instagram confirming that he and Carolina had called it quits.
“I'm getting bombarded so much at the moment, considering all the articles out right now about the status of Carolina and I,” he wrote.
“I think it's been obvious for a while we have gone our separate ways. There's no right way to deal with these situations. There's a huge pressure to just hold off going public for as long as possible 'cause you know all the hate that's gonna come.”

The personal trainer-turned-3D designer then wished Carolina “all the best” in her future.
“And I know she feels the same for me,” he added. “We had a very unique experience together full of every emotion possible but life just has a different plan for us.”
