MAFS spoiler as groom spotted 'with another woman' in Melbourne

EXCLUSIVE: It appears one fan favourite couple won’t go very far in the experiment.

They were a united front during Monday night’s inaugural dinner party, but it appears Married At First Sight’s Timothy Smith and Lucinda Light might not last much longer in the experiment.

The 51-year-old groom has become the first participant from this year's season to be spotted with what may be a new partner post-show.

Yahoo Lifestyle has obtained photos of Timothy enjoying a casual lunch with a mystery woman on Melbourne’s Chapel Street on Monday afternoon as his relationship with his 'wife' Lucinda currently plays out on TV across Australia.

An onlooker said the pair arrived at Betty's Burgers together in the same car and later left in the same vehicle, but it was “unclear if they were on a date” or not.

Despite only being one week into this year’s season, Lucinda and Timothy have already had quite a tumultuous relationship.

The couple formed a strong bond at their wedding which quickly came crumbling down on their honeymoon when Timothy told his bride he wasn’t sexually attracted to her.

With all of the couples set to move in together during Tuesday night’s episode to take on Confessions Week, viewers will have to wait and see how their relationship progresses.

Lucinda reveals major unseen moment

From the appearance of ‘the chicken wing’ to the massive thunderstorm that left guests running for shelter, Lucinda and Timothy had one of the most memorable weddings in the history of MAFS.

Speaking to Yahoo Lifestyle about the big day, Lucinda shared that the wet weather was “absolutely outrageous” and much more intense than what was shown on TV.

“It bucketed, it was torrential,” she described. “It literally did sort of pass over in about 20 minutes. It was just this wild moment, and then it just stopped and opened again.

“But it was still quite windy and cold, everyone was shivering. They even brought out the blankets for us!”

Lucinda also revealed that producers separated herself and Timothy when they were brought undercover from the rain and they weren’t allowed to talk to each other.

“They separated us and popped me on a couch, but I kept perving on him,” she joked. “I couldn’t keep my eyes off him!

“So he was on one side of the tent and I was just kicking back on the couch having a lovely time being isolated and watching all the nonsense and hilarity unfold. I enjoyed it.

“It just was what it was, we were at where we were at and it just required deep acceptance and a sense of humour. It's still been one of my favourite days ever.”
