MAFS' Hugo moves on from Tayla with influencer: 'Perfect match'

MAFS' Hugo Armstrong didn't have the easiest time on the show with 'wife' Tayla Winter, with the pair never really hitting it off before finally leaving the experiment after agreeing they weren't suited to each other.

Now, according to So Dramatic!, it seems as though Hugo has moved on with fitness influencer Carla Chatkiewicz, with the pair being spotted in photos obtained by Instagram account MAFS Gossip.

"Spotted: Hugo on date with model and influencer Carla Chatkiewicz in Melbourne," they wrote alongside three photos of the pair.

In the first, Hugo has his arm around Carla at Strong Pilates in Richmond, the second is of the pair at a bar and in the third, they posed at Holey Moley.

Hugo, who lives in Sydney, was reportedly catching up with Carla in Melbourne while visiting his family.

Fans were excited to see the pairing, with one user writing, "Good for him, definitely a step up from what he had on the show."

"Good on you Hugo!" another added.

"He's done alright for himself," a third wrote, seemingly surprised by the paring.

A source told Daily Mail that the pair "really hit it off", adding, "They have so much in common and their chemistry is undeniable. It's like night and day compared to his relationship with Tayla."

A friend adds that Hugo is "genuinely happy" and feels like he has "finally found his perfect match". However, the MAFS star laughed off the dating rumours, telling the publication Carla is "just a friend".

Meanwhile, Tayla was recently spotted leaving a restaurant with Jackson Lonie from last year's season of MAFS.

Fans weren't surprised to see the pair together, with many agreeing that Taylor was Jackson's "type".

"They suit each other," one said, while another added, "That would be right! Didn't take her long!"

"He always did have bad judgement concerning women," a third said.
