MAFS' Eden shares surprising update on relationship with Jayden after split
EXCLUSIVE: Eden Harper reveals the last time she spoke with Jayden Eynaud.
Two and a half months after announcing their split, Married At First Sight’s Eden Harper has revealed where she currently stands with Jayden Eynaud. The pair were among the strongest couples on this year’s season of the reality show and walked away from the experiment as one of the three matches still together.
During an appearance on Yahoo Lifestyle’s podcast Behind the Edit, Eden admitted that she hasn’t had any contact with her ex since they broke up in March.
“I still haven’t spoken to him. Well, I mean, he hasn’t spoken to me,” she shared. “I tried to speak to him after the dramas but he didn’t reply, so I haven’t heard from him since then.
“There was an event I was meant to be going to actually at a certain venue and I saw he was there so I didn’t go.”

Eden went on to say that while she “definitely” doesn’t want to get back together with Jayden, she’s still grateful that they were paired together on MAFS.
“I was paired with someone I actually genuinely fell for which is so rare, I think, on that show,” she detailed. “Usually it’s a push to get through, but I feel like I was really lucky on the show and we had a really good time.
“I am grateful, but I also think that it served its purpose and our ship’s sailed, that's for sure. I just think that the disrespect I received afterwards, I couldn't take someone back after that. Especially when he didn't apologise.”
Eden spills on her current dating life
When asked if she’s started dating again, Eden revealed that she’s yet to meet anyone she’s interested in but she’s looking forward to getting back out there.
“I feel like I've accepted [the breakup], I've moved on from it, it’s okay, but I just don't know where you meet people as a 29-year-old woman. I’m not on apps and I don’t party, so where?” she remarked, adding that she might need to appear on another reality dating show.
“Maybe we’re going to have to go round two,” she laughed.

Elsewhere in the interview, Eden called her co-star Stephen Stewart to get his advice on whether she should go back on MAFS to try and find love again.
She also pranked Lucinda Light and said she was getting married within a week and wanted her to be the celebrant - to which the fan-favourite bride had a very surprising response.
