MAFS' Eden reveals Jayden knew why she disappeared: 'Jayden was fully aware'

Married At First Sight's Eden Harper has spoken about her mysterious disappearance before the homestay episode, saying that her partner Jayden Eynuad knew exactly where she was despite what was shown on our TV screens.

Before the two jetted off to the Gold Coast to meet up with Jayden's family, a frantic Jayden was shown calling Eden and saying he couldn't find her and it appeared as though she then missed their flight.

The once-strong couple had been tense after the last commitment ceremony aired cracks in their relationship, with their differing communication styles alongside Eden's anxiety and lack of desire to continue in the pressure-cooker environment of the experiment causing them to clash.

Eden has now said she was blindsided by Jayden airing their issues at the commitment ceremony, with their conflict arising after they outed Sara Mesa for seeing her ex and not telling Tim Calwell.

“It’s not that I don’t agree with Jayden’s opinion," she told The Pulse with Seany B & Emma G. “We just don’t need to continuously badger them. Jayden really likes to prove a point.”

Eden also touched on the pressure of being filmed constantly for the experiment and having to say or do things on camera that you would usually do differently in real life.

“It’s just not my cup of tea," she said. "In real life, I probably would’ve rang Tim (about Sara cheating) on the down low and just let him know but we’re on MAFS, we don’t have that choice.”

After missing her flight to the Gold Coast (where she also resides) leaving Jayden concerned about her whereabouts, Eden has revealed what she was actually doing.

“I stuffed up that morning," she said. “I didn’t run away because I wanted to think about my feelings. I got an Uber into the city 'cause I needed to get my nail fixed!”

She then said Jayden was aware of where she was and what was happening.

“Jayden was fully aware of where I was and what was going on. I don’t know why he was saying he hadn’t heard from me because he definitely had.”
