MAFS' Dion reportedly back with ex-girlfriend after denying rumours
His on-screen ‘marriage’ with Carolina Santos officially came to an end during Sunday night’s explosive commitment ceremony, where she walked in holding hands with Daniel Holmes, and now it appears as though Married At First Sight’s Dion Giannarelli has officially moved on.
The 34-year-old property developer is said to be back together with his former partner Nikki Walton after reportedly ending their relationship right before filming his TV wedding.
According to the Daily Mail, the couple “recently rekindled their romance” now that he has officially left the show.
A source told the publication: “Dion made no secret that he had a girl waiting for him on the outside. He told castmates they called it quits five weeks before his wedding [to Carolina].”
The reports come shortly after Dion spoke with Yahoo Lifestyle and shut down rumours that he had a ‘secret girlfriend’ during the experiment.

“No, that's definitely not the case at all,” he asserted. “I was single when I entered the show and I was single when I signed up.
“I'm not too sure what those rumours are, but they are incorrect and I wouldn't believe things that are in the media sometimes. It’s completely incorrect.”
While Dion might not have been ‘unfaithful’ to his partner during the show, his partner Carolina had an affair with fellow intruder Daniel Holmes.
The pair have since confirmed that they are still together in real life after being photographed at Sydney airport holding hands and engaging in PDA.
Speaking about the incident, Dion admitted that he hadn’t seen the snaps of Carolina and Daniel but wished them well.
“If they are still together, I’m not a person that holds grudges and at the end of the day, all the very best,” he said, adding that he hasn’t been in contact with either of them “for a while”.
“I mean, there's not much more to say. Everyone deserves happiness in life and if they’ve found happiness, congratulations.”
Married At First Sight airs at 7pm on Sunday and 7:30pm on Monday to Wednesday on Channel Nine and 9Now.
