MAFS' Carolina makes shocking on-air confession about Duncan

Despite telling Yahoo Lifestyle back in April that there was nothing to the photos released in March of her and MAFS groom Duncan James enjoying an intimate conversation and whispering into each other’s ears at a club in Sydney, Carolina Santos has now dropped a major bombshell about that night.

Appearing on the Back To Reality podcast this week, Carolina - who was paired with Dion Giannarelli in last year's season of the hit Channel Nine series - revealed to hosts Selina Chhaur and Taku Chimwaza that she has hooked up with someone from this year's season of the reality show.

“I was literally going to take this to the grave but…. Oh f***,” Carolina said on the podcast, letting the suspense of the moment build up.

“It was Duncan,” she finally revealed, shocking host and ex-MAFS star Selina so much that her jaw dropped.

“He messaged me like ‘Where you at’ and I’m like ‘Oh I’m at this gay club’ and then he was like ‘Okay I’m coming’,” Carolina explained.

“He was already drunk because he was out at a buck’s party, I think. Yeah so, that’s how it happened”.

Duncan has previously denied anything happened between him and Carolina that night, with a friend telling Daily Mail Australia that it was "nothing more than a harmless bit of fun".

"Duncan just ran into Carolina, they were actually at a gay bar. There is nothing more to it. They were chatting and some guy just snapped a photo," the friend said.

Speaking with Yahoo Lifestyle in a candid chat back in April, Carolina explained that she met Duncan at a club on Oxford Street in Sydney after going out for dinner with her co-star Olivia Frazer and season seven groom Sebastian Guilhaus.

“We got a little drunk and then Olivia and Seb decided to leave so I stayed out with my friend,” she details. “We ended up going to this gay bar on Oxford Street and it was such a vibe, really loud music, and we ran into Duncan.

“It was kind of a club so it was really hard to hear each other and we obviously had to speak into each other’s ears. There’s nothing really more to it.”

'They definitely hooked up'

At the time, an onlooker told Yahoo Lifestyle they saw looking very cosy and kissing at the club.

“They definitely hooked up,” the source claims. “I recognised Carolina that night and saw her hooking up with a handsome man, but didn’t realise until I watched the new season of MAFS that it was Duncan.

“Throughout the night they were dancing, she was sitting on his lap, and they were kissing. They both looked drunk.”

Duncan moves on with another MAFS bride

While Carolina told Yahoo Lifestyle she was still single in April, Duncan went official with former MAFS bride Evelyn Ellis in May, with the couple telling 9Entertainment it felt good to get the secret relationship out in the open.

Just last week, it was reported that the pair have moved into a $3.2 million townhouse in Sydney's affluent suburb of Balmain together.

It is understood the pair will be leasing the property for an estimated $10,000 a month.
