MAFS' Cam Merchant undergoes major body transformation: 'Uncomfortable'

Former MAFS star Cam Merchant has undergone a major body transformation, revealing he's ditched the 'dad-bod'. The reality star, who is expecting his second child with wife Jules Robinson, took to Instagram to showcase his new physique, revealing he is now down to 69kg.

Cam shared a lengthy caption alongside a before-and-after snap, writing, "The goal was simple... Commit to getting stronger every day 💪🏽."

He added, "To be honest, I thought this Dad-Bod was here for life... and I was totally fine with that but it wasn’t about that, it was for more energy, vibrancy and being stronger and more present for my family & life.

"Been a wild ride the last 12 months but I made a decision & gave myself permission to reset, restart and allow myself to refocus on all the magic that is possible in this world."

Cam continued, "I committed to change, discipline, creating an (at times very uncomfortable) morning routine and gave myself grace along the way when days didn’t go to plan and I had a heap of fun doing it!

"I have loved the process of what it has brought me and dare say through it I’m addicted and now committed to another level.

All I now know is that when you commit & find your reason, anything is possible for you in every aspect of life! So get it, whatever it is you want, I’m here to cheer you on every morning, every step, all the way!"

Cam then shared an Instagram Story of himself boxing on a heavy bag, writing, "Keep showing up." He also showed a photo of the scales, which read 69.04kg.

"Welcome to the featherweight division," he added, with a shocked and laughing emoji.

Cam's friends and followers were quick to praise him for his hard work, with his wife Jules writing, "You always look perfect to me! X."

"What a transformation, well done mate," fellow MAFS star Duncan James wrote.

"Do we need to talk about your eyes in the first photo mate??? 👀," MAFS expert Mel Schilling joked.

Cam and Jules announce pregnancy

Cam and Jules announced they're expecting their second child in February, revealing the little one is due in July.

Sharing a video of their son Ollie kissing Jules' bump, Cam wrote, "When 3 becomes 4 🥰. We both can only imagine our hearts capacity to love will just keep on expanding…

"So excited to announce we have a new addition to the family joining us in July!"

MAFS star Kerry Balbuziente, who recently welcomed a daughter with her husband Johnny, wrote, "So much love you guys!!! Mama is glowing! So excited to watch your little family grow!"
