MAFS' Caitlin unrecognisable in dramatic post-show transformation: 'Screaming'

She had one of the most tumultuous relationships on this year’s season of Married At First Sight but Caitlin McConville has opened a new chapter of her life with a stunning transformation post-show.

The 27-year-old make-up artist was left devastated when her ‘husband’, Shannon Adams, revealed he was still in love with his ex, just one week after the pair had ‘tied the knot’ on the controversial Channel Nine reality show.

Now, she’s leaving the hurt in the past with a brand new look, sharing a number of photos and videos on social media where she truly looks unrecognisable.

“Harnessing my potential to ‘level up’,” Caitlin captioned a picture on Instagram, where she debuted her long, flowing brunette tresses.

A number of her Married At First Sight co-stars rushed to the comments section to praise her makeover, with Janelle Han putting into words what everyone was feeling by commenting: “Omfg I’m literally screaming at my phone”.

“Gorggggg”, Tahnee Cook wrote, while Melinda Willis said: “Making me want to now!”.

Caitlin later took to her Instagram Stories to spill on her transformation from blonde to brunette, telling her fans “It’s my real hair”.

“I’m going to stay dark for a hot minute, if not forever,” she said.

In a TikTok video, Caitlin documented the lengthy process to go from blonde to brunette, showing her sitting in a hairdresser chair, with her hair being dyed before a number of extensions were added to give her volume and length.

OnlyFans conversations 'cut from show'

During her Instagram Q&A, Caitlin opened up to fans about whether or not she would ever do OnlyFans, with the Brisbane local saying she was very open about her past endeavours on the site while she was on the show, however, those scenes were cut.

“I had OnlyFans prior to doing Married At First Sight,” she said.

“I had it on and off for years. Before I did Married At First Sight. I was very open about this on my time during the experiment, I was very open about my OnlyFans. I'm very open about the fact that I've worked in the adult entertainment industry.”

Caitlin went on to say that she’s ”very pro-sex work, very do what makes you feel confident or makes you feel happy’.

“I'm very non-judgmental. That's who I am. And there were conversations had about this on camera with multiple people throughout my time on the experiment that never made it to air. I guess it didn't fit their storyline.”
