Love Triangle's 'villain' Sam already wary of edit: 'I didn't apply for this'

EXCLUSIVE: Already rumoured to be the next 'Harrison Boon', Sam Fisher has told Yahoo Lifestyle he doesn't expect his edit to be 'kind'.

Love Triangle's Sam Fisher is already at the centre of the show's gossip after three episodes, from his alleged fling with a MAFS star through to the rumours he's going to be the 'next Harrison Boon'.

The fresh reality star has also been at the centre of rumours that he had a secret girlfriend during production, with one source telling gossip podcast So Dramatic that he was dating his 'long-distance girlfriend during the show and lied to production' about it.

Reports have also begun circulating that the Love Triangle star was 'problematic' with an insider also telling So Dramatic: “Not only was Sam misogynistic on the show, he was also homophobic and fatphobic."

Yahoo Lifestyle had an exclusive chat with the Love Triangle star before the show started airing, and early on he mentioned being wary of his upcoming edit.

'I didn't apply for this'

"I take it as it comes. I didn't apply for this," Sam told Yahoo Lifestyle. "They came to me. So whatever happens happens."

Sam hinted that he was waiting for his edit to be less than favourable.

"I think the edit might not be too kind to me in this show," he stipulated. "[But] you realise you can handle a lot more than what you expected you could."

While he kept mum on what his final edits may be, Sam had this to say.

"I think there's a couple of shenanigans that go down that might not be favourable to my final edits."

'People in it for the wrong reasons'

"In this show, I feel like there's maybe some people out there in it for the wrong reasons," Sam said.

"But myself, I was offered an opportunity after not applying, I took the opportunity... and at the end of the day, you have just got to be yourself in there. It probably plays right into a reality TV series hands [being yourself] but we're all going to be irrelevant in 20 years!"

Sam also hinted at a potential outside romance when talking about the 'triangle' element of the show.

"I think you've got to pick a lane and stick to it. That's always been my mantra for anyone. You gotta make a call. So whether that gives anything away of how I approach my triangle I'm not sure... but, you know, triangles are inevitable.

These dating shows, it's not like we're sitting on ice before the show not making connections with people as well. Love has definitely dawned on me this year," he ended the conversation with.

But with who? We'll just have to wait and see.
