The cast of Love Triangle - where are they now?

Reality show Love Triangle was billed as the dating show that focuses on connection rather than physical attraction as contestants first bond over texts and phone calls before laying eyes on their potential match.

Each of the six contestants had two potential matches choosing one to move in with after messaging for a few days. But of course, there was a twist, and as the name suggests the other match moved in just as they were getting to know the first one.

When the first series ended, there were three couples that decided to commit to each other in the season finale.

So what are the original contestants doing now and did the couples stay together?

Kyle, 31, Electrician from Qld

Kyle hit it off immediately with Leesh and not even the addition of another woman vying for his attention could change that. So despite living in different states, they decided to give dating in the real world a shot.

Sadly it wasn't to be and by November last year, they were done.

"Had an absolute blast with this gorgeous woman and got the pleasure of getting to know her and what she values," Kyle wrote on Instagram.

But Leesh gave a different perspective on their breakup.

"Despite commitments to make our relationship work through the physical distance, our relationship was unrequited," Leesh wrote.

"Whilst I was committed to putting the effort into making the long-distance relationship work, I can't help the fact that Kyle's feelings changed.

"The memories I've created during this show are for life and whilst Kyle and I failed to work out, I know true love is out there for me. "

Kyle still appears to be single.

Ly, 29, Counsellor from Victoria

Though unsuccessful in finding true love on the show, Ly still finds the energy to throw herself into life. She still works as a Clinical Counsellor/Psychotherapist and has added digital creator to her portfolio as well.

While she doesn't seem to have found anyone special yet, her enviable travel pix are certainly enough to make most people jealous!

Lisa, 33, Photographer from Perth

Lisa was one of the people who decided to choose her match and leave the show as a couple, though it almost didn't happen. She admitted Patrick, her first match, wasn't her normal type so when Matt was introduced, who was her type, it certainly put the cat amongst the pigeons.

But Lisa decided she wanted to give Patrick a go in the real world and they chose to leave the show as a couple.

So did they make it? Sadly not. Just one month after the show had finished, so were they!

" Just over a month of dating Patrick exclusively in the real world, I decided to end it," Lisa revealed on her Instagram account.

"It wasn't under the best circumstances, but I knew in my heart what I am worth and I'm not going to settle for anything less!

"Let's just say hindsight is 20/20, I can't change the past and I don't regret a thing.... I wish nothing but the best for Pat where life takes him"

While Lisa did debut a new relationship on her socials in March this year, she also seems to have picked up a troll as her personal Instagram account keeps getting reported and suspended, something she shared on her professional account reels with much frustration!

Madi, 31, Events Manager from Victoria

Madi decided to walk away from her match James at the end of the show, much to James' disappointment.

In one of her more recent Instagram updates, Madi declared that her current significant other is her laptop so we're guessing she's still looking!

She also launched her own events-planning business in July and is concentrating on that – for now!

Alex, 32, Tech Specialist from Victoria

It was love at first sight for Alex and Madison the first time they met, but it almost fell apart when third wheel Bec joined the couple and Madison became jealous and possessive.

But in the end, the connection was too strong to let it go and Alex and Madi left as a couple.

Though neither Alex nor Madi are big posters on the socials, they were still together in July, over 12 months after they met on the show.

"1 year since I met this absolute stunner!" Alex posted in May. "Cannot believe how quickly the time has gone and yet somehow feels like I’ve known you longer. You’re incredible and I feel so lucky to have you in my life. Love you beautiful! Happy anniversary."

Yannick, 33, Sports Lawyer from NSW

Yannick walked away from the show single and it appears that he has maintained that lifestyle, enjoying being photographed with multiple beauties at his birthday party in June.

Judging by his socials, he seems to be focussing on fitness and being a brand ambassador.
