“Love Is Blind” Unveils the New Crop of Singles Searching for Love in Season 8: Meet the Cast!
Fans will get to see the new crop of singles from Minneapolis, Minnesota entering the pods this Valentine's Day
Love Is Blind is back with a new set of singles!
The cast of the hit Netflix blind-dating show was announced on Monday, Jan. 27, featuring 32 people from Minneapolis, Minnesota looking for love. In an all-new trailer, the cast introduced themselves while answering questions about their biggest “icks” in a relationship, how they might get on a future partner’s nerves and more!
The hopeful singles range from 26 to 43 years old, with several nurses in the mix, a fashion director, a wine bar owner and a dentist. Each is looking for their perfect partner: 33-year-old Adam said he goes by “the grocery store test” to find someone who would make something as simple as grocery shopping fun, while 43-year-old Amanda admitted her fear of finding a connection in the pods with someone who realizes they can’t be with her because of her age.
Several of them also revealed their quirks. Taylor, 32, said she sings her sentences, 34-year-old Scott joked that he is “a 5-year-old that just needs to run around and get his energy out,” and Monica, 28, joked that her friends and family would say she is “secretly really weird, but in a good way.”
One thing they all have in common is that they’re looking for a forever love.
Ashley, 34, just wants “someone who will cheer me on as I am in the middle of a dance floor, or get excited next to me as I watch the sunset.” 38-year-old Tom hopes to find “a life partner” to “share the good times and the bad times” with him. Others, like 30-year-old Daniel, are eager to “build a family.”
They also expressed their more lighthearted needs when sharing their “icks.” Madison, 28, had quite a few: “long fingernails, mommy issues, cheaters, doesn’t like dogs,” she listed.

As for what they do that could annoy their partner, Alex, 29, confessed that he “sometimes” snores (but asked for forgiveness, because “I can’t help it!”). Kylie, 28, revealed she can be a bit messy, and 29-year-old Sara said she procrastinates — “like, a lot.”
Season 8 will show the singles date and — for some — get engaged to someone they have never seen before in this unconventional experiment putting the theory that love is blind to the test.
“I am a die-hard believer in this concept,” Alex said at the end of the teaser. “I’m excited to get in the pods and find the love of my life.”
