‘Love Is Blind’ Season 8 Trailer: Netflix Teases Prenups and Proposals in Minnesota Edition
Netflix has released the trailer for Season 8 of “Love Is Blind,” which this year celebrates its fifth anniversary on the streamer. The new season, which takes place in Minneapolis-Saint Paul, Minn., premieres on Valentine’s Day.
“Love Is Blind,” which has spawned multiple international spinoffs since its 2020 debut, puts singles through a series of literally blind dates while encased in “pods,” which are modular lounges that allow the prospective lovers to hear but not see the person they are courting. Those who spark a connection can propose to the person of their choice, and if it’s a yes, the couple will meet face-to-face for the first time. In the weeks that follow, the couples go out into the real world to test if their love holds true. At the end of the show, the fiancés will have the choice to seal their relationships with marriage or go their separate ways.

The official synopsis for Season 8 reads, “The hit reality series is back for an eighth season, following a new set of singles from Minnesota — all ready to cut through the static of modern dating and forge authentic relationships, sight unseen. This season, the singles form deep and immediate connections, setting the stage for an unexpected journey full of twists, turns and shocking revelations that will test each relationship well after the participants leave the pods for the real world.”
Creator Chris Coelen serves as executive producer with Ally Simpson, Brent Gauches, Eric Detwiler and Brian Smith. “Love Is Blind” Season 8 is produced by Kinetic Content and hosted by Vanessa and Nick Lachey.
