Larry Emdur wins Gold Logie
It's been a long wait but we finally have our Gold Logie winner.
Larry Emdur has won the big award of the night, making it two awards for the evening – which happen to be his first ever during his long TV career.
"I love this business so much. I love being in TV, I love being on TV and I've never done anything else and I've never wanted to do anything else," he told the audience.
There were plenty of jokes in his speech and the following came after the show stretched close to midnight.
"Nat Barr is looking at me like, "Baby, I've got to get up in 25 minutes."
Wrapping up the awards, Sam Pang carried on the joke announcing to viewers the next show on air would be Sunrise.

Fifteen-year-old Felix Cameron has won his first Logie for his performance in the hit Netflix show Boy Swallows Universe.
And it was all too much for the young star who broke down in tears towards the end of his speech he had written down on a piece of paper because his phone was broken.
I couldn't have done it without you," he said of his drama teacher Nadia Townsend as he struggled to compose himself. "She said that we were climbing a mountain. She never ever clarified whether it was Everest or the Dandenongs but I think we got there. So, thank you, everyone!"

Larry Emdur’s co-stars throw their support for his Gold Logie campaign
It's quite clear who Seven's breakfast hosts are hoping to win the big one tonight.
“As his campaign manager, I think [his campaign] has gone exceptionally well,” Larry Emdur’s The Morning Show co-host Kylie Gillies told Yahoo Lifestyle on the red carpet.
“I think it’s been bloody brilliant, and I think he deserves to win,” Sunrise star Matt ‘Shirvo’ Shirvington said. “I couldn’t believe that he had hadn't been nominated prior to this. He absolutely deserves to be nominated.
Nat Barr added that she hopes Larry takes home the Gold after he said he will "happily get all the nominees name initials tattooed on my a**" if he does.
“Shirvo has organised for his tattooist to come in tomorrow morning, so we’re ready for it,” she revealed.
“I just saw Tony Armstrong back there, and I’m asking each individual nominee if they will come into the studio personally and put their initials on his butt cheek. So we’re trying to make that happen tonight,” Matt shared.

Sam Pang's intro a hit among viewers
Sam Pang's monologue to open the Logies has been a hit once again, that's if X is anything to go by.
He joked about Channel Seven's "impeccable record in defamation cases over the last 12 months", while brutally mocking The Voice judge LeAnn Rimes as someone people only know through Google.
Of course there was a swipe at the woman of the moment, Raygun, and Larry Emdur's lack of a prime time TV slot was seized upon by Pang.
"Larry has an incredible connection with hospital waiting rooms and the viewers trapped in nursing homes, hospital waiting rooms and the long-term unemployed. They're your people, Larry," he joked
Bravo Sam Pang. Another brilliant start. I think youve secured hosting duties forever. #Logies

Another great monologue from Sam Pang. He really is the master of walking that line between funny and offensive. Tipping the #Raygun line to get plenty of traction tomorrow. #Logies #TVWeekLogies

Boy Swallows Universe co-stars reveal ‘rivalry’: 'Hate each other'
Boy Swallows Universe co-stars Felix Cameron and Lee Tiger Halley joked on the red carpet that they have a ‘friendly rivalry’ this evening as they are both nominated for the Most Popular New Talent award. The Netflix series received the most nominations this year with 10 nods.
“We're battling it out. The friendship’s over for the night,” Lee told Yahoo Lifestyle. “We actually hate each other off screen, so it's an absolute rivalry, always have been.”
“We've always hated each other,” Felix added. “We have to pretend we love each other, but soon as the camera cuts, it’s a full fist fight, genuinely. You know the bruises that we have when we were characters? They were real, that was not makeup.”

Wiggles star Anthony Field has shut down an odd rumour that continues to plague the band.
