EXCLUSIVE: The Block's Leah and Ash finally sell House 2 for surprising amount

Leah says she feels 'very grateful and proud' following the lengthy process of selling the Charming St property.

Almost four months after they decided to pass their property in at last year’s nail-biting auction, The Block’s Leah and Ash Milton have finally sold their house.

Yahoo Lifestyle can reveal that the Queensland couple have sold House 2 - located at 16 Charming Street in Hampton East - for $3.125 million, giving them a tidy profit of $155,000.

This figure officially puts Leah and Ash in third place above Kyle and Leslie Cottone who received $130,000 in profit and Kristy and Brett Beames who walked away with $65,000 in profit.

Meanwhile, Steph and Gian Ottavio and Eliza and Liberty Paschke became millionaires from the show, making $1.65 million and $1.05 million in profit, respectively.

Leah and Ash also received a Ford Mustang on the show after winning the final room reveal week which was valued at $80,000, bringing the total value of their winnings to $235,000.

Speaking exclusively to Yahoo Lifestyle, Leah says she and Ash are ending their Block chapter feeling “very grateful and proud”.

“It was always our aim to create a really special and unique home for a buyer who would truly appreciate it,” she shares. “There’s no sweeter feeling than pouring your blood sweat and tears into something and having someone fall in love with the end product.”

Who purchased Leah and Ash's house?

Leah reveals that unlike the other properties sold on the show last year, House 2 was purchased by a family.

“It will be the first house in this series to have a buyer live in the house and the only family purchasing. It’s like back to the good old days!” she tells Yahoo Lifestyle.

“The buyers love the style and have mentioned they wouldn’t change a thing,”

Leah and Ash have achieved a much better post-show result than 2022 couple Dylan and Jenny, who also chose to pass their property in at their auction.

The pair, who recently announced they’re expecting their first child together, finally managed to sell their five-bedroom Gisbourne property in February last year.

It was then revealed in May that their home sold for $3.9 million, which was $180,000 below their original reserve price and $175,000 less than the highest bid they received at the action.
