Yahoo Lifestyle Lady Gaga Brings Mayhem to the Grammys in Look Straight From Her New Era
Lady Gaga is bringing the mayhem. The singer/icon/mother showed up on the 2025 Grammys red carpet wearing a Victorian-esque gown, which she paired with black hair and a fringe. A look straight from her upcoming MAYHEM era. And/or Nosferatu.
Lady Gaga’s new album drops on March 7, but new music is here literally right now. Gaga is dropping her new single during a commercial break for the 2025 Grammys, so stay tuned for that! Meanwhile, she’s nominated for Song of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for her Bruno Mars collaboration “Die With a Smile.”
As for what to expect from MAYHEM, Gaga said in a press release, “The album started as me facing my fear of returning to the pop music my earliest fans loved. Even if you can’t put the pieces back together perfectly, you can create something beautiful and whole in its own new way.”
More recently Gaga chatted to Elle about the album’s sound, saying that she’d describe the LG7 era as “dark, poetry, [and] hard.”
“I definitely didn’t adhere to any one drama, but the beats are all really hard,” she explained. “So that was sort of the through line—sonically, the album is pretty hard-hitting.”
