Kyle Sandilands unleashes on I'm A Celebrity host Robert Irwin

Kyle's outburst came as Robert was named Australia's Top Broadcast Talent.

Kyle Sandilands has unleashed on new I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! host Robert Irwin after the 20-year-old was named Australia's Top Broadcast Talent.

Robert beat last year's winner, Hamish Blake, as well as Andy Lee, Dr Chris Brown, Ally Langdon and Natalie Barr, to name just a few. The son of Steve Irwin also came out on top in the Top 10 Male Talent list.

Lewers Research surveyed over 7,000 Australians to gauge viewers' attitudes towards top Australian celebrities, actors, broadcasters, and others.

"We were excited to see Robert Irwin top the Talent Index for the very first time. It demonstrates that he is significantly more liked than disliked by audiences nationally," Talent Corp Managing Director Mark Noakes. "That makes him a great choice for Network 10 to cast him in the forthcoming series of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!"

Kyle, meanwhile, came in as the most controversial broadcaster, followed by shock jock Alan Jones.

While Robert has yet to make his debut on I'm A Celebrity, he has previously presented on Sunrise, filling in for weather presenter Sam Mac, and has also hosted The Project.

Kyle was quick to slam the results, saying on The Kyle and Jackie Show, "The b**** has done nothing. It’s a sympathy vote."

He then poked fun at co-host Jackie 'O' Henderson, who scored 59 out of 100 on the "likability" scale.

"You're liked? I find that hard to understand," he joked.

'A real honour'
