Kmart shoppers are once again rushing to their nearest store to nab the latest just-released homewares, which includes some pretty convincing dupes of pricey furniture.
Taking their homewares to new levels, the popular store has just dropped two new must-have pieces at budget prices.
The new $159 Winston Lounge Chair has been likened to a $440 armchair from popular online furniture store Temple and Webster which sells a nearly identical one.
Montauk Upholstered Armchair from Temple and Webster is extremely popular online with shoppers giving the chair 4.7 out of five-star reviews. So it's no wonder the dupe is already seemingly just as popular.
Shoppers were quick to pick up on the dupes in the latest release, with many rushing out to search of the ‘stunning’ new pieces.
Those who have already managed to get their hands on them have confirmed they are indeed as good as they look.
“I’m actually surprised with how nice they are especially for the price and they are textured not just flat and cheap looking,” one person confirmed.
“I found the arched bedsides at my local today, I had to get one! Love it,” another added.
“I got the chairs and they are comfy obviously not a $1000 chair comfy but for the price they are great I love them,” said a third.
'So in love!'
Interior stylists are also loving the new pieces with Dina, who runs the popular Instagram page dina.sweethome.style sharing how she styled pieces with her 28,000 followers.
"I was able to get my hands in one of the @kmartaus new arch side tables and omg they are so so beautiful and with such an amazing texture too. So so in love with them. I used mine in my living room and loving all the vibes," she said.
Apart from the price point, Kmart fans have also been impressed with the fact that the covers come off for easy washing and it’s “not too bulky” making it easy to move around and perfect for small spaces.
It was also pointed out that Kmart has definitely “upped their game” recently on both the design of products and the quality.
“I couldn’t care less about replicas or pretending to have expensive items. At least Kmart has upped their quality lately,” one shopper said.
How to hack them
While shoppers are loving the furniture dupes just as they are, some have already come up with a hack for them.
In an effort to make the pieces their own, one self-proclaimed Kmart Hack Creatror took the arch bedside table to new heights.
She towered two on top of each other before adding legs and some LED lighting to showcase each shelf.
The clever idea turned the bedside tables into a modern slim-line shelving unit complete with custom lighting.
“This is brilliant!” one person wrote of the impressive hack, while another added “Looks fantastic!!!! Wow!!”
